Ps Peter Ingram

Pastors Peter Ingram

Peter grew up in a Christian family in South Australia and in 1981, when he was 16 years old; became a Christian at a local youth camp.

Peter married Dee in 1986. They have two children, Luke and Monique.

Peter joined the Royal Australian Navy in 1983 and served his country in defence until 2007. The latter part of his career was heavily involved in training; equipping sailors in readiness to fight on the frontlines of the battlefield.

Peter, along with his family, has been part of Southern Lights since 1995, where he has served as a son of the vision in a variety of roles and responsibilities. During this time, Peter, his wife and children, spent four years out of the base through military duties, but remained in covenant relationship with his Southern Lights family.

God eventually transitioned Peter's experience with disciplined training within defence into equipping the saints for the work of ministry.

With the help of a small but dedicated team, Peter has been involved in leading the part-time discipling course, Call to Discipleship, since 2003 and has a heart to raise up Godly disciples who will make a difference in this nation, and across the nations of the world. In 2007, Peter moved into full time ministry and took up the mantle of The Australian Master's Commission Operations Director. In Peter's discipling role, his heart is to develop young people in leadership, character, discipline and focus for a lifetime of passionately serving God.
